Great Coffee Recipes for Discerning Coffee Lovers

Do you like coffee? How about cake to go with your coffee? You do? Great, then you'll enjoy this article.
I've put together a few mouth watering coffee recipes.
Here are a few recipes for all you coffee lovers out there. For the first coffee recipe we will combine 
Cinnamon and Coffee;

Cinnamon Spiced Coffee
Ingredients:
1/3 c Instant coffee 
3 tablespoons Sugar 
8 Whole cloves 
3 Inches stick cinnamon 
3 cup Water 
Whipped cream 
Ground cinnamon

Directions:
First combine 1/3 cup instant coffee, 3 tablespoons sugar, cloves, stick cinnamon, and water. Cover and bring to the boil. When reaches the boil remove from heat and let stand, covered for about 5 minutes to steep. Strain and pour into cups. Top each with spoonful of whipped cream; and a light dash of cinnamon. This is fun to serve with cinnamon sticks as stirrers. Serves 4 to 6.

How about chilling out with a cool;
Mocha Frappe
Ingredients:
18 Ice cubes (up to 22) 
7 oz Double strength coffee, chilled 
¼ c Chocolate sauce (or syrup) 
2 teaspoon Vanilla Syrup 
Whipped Cream (garnish)

Directions:
Place ice, coffee, chocolate sauce, and syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a large, tall (chilled) glass. Garnish with dollop of whipped cream or scoop of your favourite ice cream. Makes one 16 oz frappe.

Chocolate Coffee Bread
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups water 
1/3 cup cocoa powder 
1 1/3 cups bread flour 
1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour 
3 tablespoons dry milk powder 
1 1/2 teaspoons salt 
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
3 tablespoons honey 
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 
2 envelopes instant mocha cappuccino mix

Directions:
Place all ingredients (except chocolate chips and mocha mix) in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Basic Bread cycle; press Start. If your machine has a Fruit setting, add the chocolate chips and mocha mix at the signal, or about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.
Brazilian Coffee Cookies
Ingredients:
1/3 cup shortening 
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 
1/2 cup white sugar 
1 egg 
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
1 tablespoon milk 
2 cups all-purpose flour 
1/2 teaspoon salt 
1/4 teaspoon baking soda 
1/4 teaspoon baking powder 
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Line the baking sheets with parchment paper.
Beat the shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, vanilla and milk until fluffy.
Stir the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and instant coffee. Add to sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.
Shape dough in 1 inch balls. If it's too soft, chill it for a while. Place balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Flatten to 1/8 inch thickness with fork or glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees CV) for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
